No Falsies No Brushes Daily Makeup!

I did another makeup tutorial!  :DDDDDD  It actually looks quite similar to the first one, but sans the false eyelashes, and sans brushes!  Also it's really simple, with just one eye colour.

YAY.

This particular one was birthed because of talks with my dear Zhiwei, actually!  It was from a specific comment she said after watching my first makeup tutorial - "I feel like if I invest in some of those products I may be able to achieve sth similar with practice hehe".  Well I really didn't want her to go out and buy so many products that she might not be comfortable with using, and on hindsight, what seems easy to me, like putting on false lashes and using all these makeup brushes, may be quite difficult to people who really haven't had any exposure to doing makeup.  Especially eye makeup.  So I came up with this!  This is really something very easily achievable for beginners, as long as they're willing to give it a try.  (:  I genuinely haven't not used brushes in so long, so forgive me if I'm a little rusty.  I do believe that if one has oily eyelids (like I do), investing in a good waterproof and smudge-proof pencil eyeliner is beneficial!  Even more so for Singapore's humid weather.

The full product and price list of products (mentioned in the tutorial):

Eyebrow pencil in Blonde; Bourjois ($16.20, available from Watsons)
Eyeshadow Primer Potion; Urban Decay ($32, Sephora)
Galapagos Eyeshadow; Nars ($38)
Eyeliner in Intense Glitter, Black; Make Up Academy
They're Real! Mascara ; Benefit
Super Orgasm Powder Blush; Nars ($50)
Cherish Lipstick ; MAC ($28)

Products (not mentioned in the tutorial)
Matchmaster Liquid Foundation ; MAC ($63)
Full Coverage Concealer ; Make Up Forever ($54)
Hoola Bronzer powder ; Benefit

Here're some photos of the makeup!

All unedited, 'cept for lighting adjustments here and there, to best show the colours used.

I really love how versatile a brown smokey eye is, because one can change the cheek and lip colours accordingly, and there wouldn't be a huge clash in colour.  Brown is also less harsh than black, so it's not a huge step to take, really!  (:

I also really love MAC's Cherish on my lips because of its nude, peachy tones.  Makes me feel so young and carefree when I wear it!

I hope you give this makeup a try!  No falsies, and no brushes -- okay, I did use an angled brush for my brows, and a contour brush for my cheek colour, but eyebrows really can be drawn and fluffed out nicely with most eyebrow pencils as they come with a nice mini brush at the end of it, and also cheek colours can be dabbed on with fingers, just as long as you blend out the harsh lines with a cotton bud as well.  (:

I very much want to know if you've enjoyed the video, or if you have any suggestions for me to make better videos, do let me know!  Either text me or FB-message me.  Or you could just comment on Youtube.  (:

Much love,
Pamela
