half arsed mugging and a whole lot of photo taking

Hi.  We received our results yesterday.  I had initially thought that the incoming release of results wouldn't affect me, but on the previous day, I was eating a lot without any particular reason.  It was the nerves; they had gotten to me.  An attempt to sleep was made at 5am but any slumber alluded me.  I kept checking my phone to see if time had passed by quicker, with each time, but in the end I finally fell into a fitful sleep.

I needn't have cared so much, really, because at 8am, with painfully dry eyes, I saw the SMS that held my precious results.

:D

In that moment, I genuinely don't know what emotions I was feeling, but I do know that I was so overwhelmed that tears just gathered in my eyes.  Ran downstairs and started jumping around like a madwoman; was yelling VICTORY in my croaky and cracked just awakened voice.  Scared my dad quite a bit, but all's good.

I made it to second upper class!  (':  After a painful semester (getting SAP of 2.8), I had almost given up on trying to get to second upper class.  But with some a lot of determination and hard work, and these amazing friends, I MADE IT!!!!!!  To think I was so worried about my thesis and still cried about it after handing it up hahahahahah.  You can read about my thesis woes and thankyous here, if you'd like.

Anyway since results have been released I have decided to just consolidate all the photos taken during revision period.  Be warned when I say there are many.  :3

Bert and I!  We had met to study for a last time in the EL Honours Room, along with Melcher.

I'm really glad that I met Alberta!  (:  We only got closer in Year 4, but once I got to know her I knew I wanted to be her friend.  I think I'm odd that way; I'm really decisive when it comes to being close friends or not, and I knew Bert was a caring and amazing person thus I decided I was going to be her close friend.  LOL sounds so creepy but it's not like I stalk people or anything!  I just don't spend time on people whom I don't think are worth it.  Bert's definitely very worth my time (:

While Melcher's a different story, got thrown into doing a group project with him during Bilingualism class (no less, ick).  HAHAHAAH I kid.  I really feel like Melcher's my brother now, to some extent!  I wouldn't have made it through this semester without his constant support and verbal jabs so, I thank you for being the person you are!  (:

Was talking to Ayano, ever the sweet boyfriend hehehe

The three of us had final papers to revise for, but I'd be lying if I said we were truly worried.... We were chatting quite a bit.  Hahahahaha.  After a little while, they each had to go off, and I was left alone attempting to revise for my exam..... In my boredom I turned to taking photos

My very very cute watch, in a London design!  Love it so much, it makes me happy.  Do you spot the odd giraffe?

Thank you Bert for the note and snack!!  (: (: (:  Bert always makes me feel very loved with her cards and notes (':

Went to have dinner with Bryan at Fish Mart Sakuraya at West Coast Plaza!

As usual, the salmon sashimi was so indulgent.  Really melts in your mouth!  We chose salmon belly on purpose, rather than just salmon meat, for fatty bits.  Hehe

Also shared a Unagi-don!

Wow I'm getting hungry looking at these photos.  Click here if you want more details on Fish Mart Sakuraya!  I highly recommend going there if you grow tired of school food, and want to treat yourself.

Another day:

Met Boss to mugggggggggg.  We had lunch at The Reedz cafe!

If you're looking at my laptop screen, yes I was on Pixiwoo's page watching makeup tutorials.  Lololol

Was giving myself a break!!  Honest

Okay maybe I wasn't.  I finally opened my Benefit Posietint lip stain to use!  It gives such a summer vibe, a fresh look.  A pinch of colour.  I like it.

Heheehehe ambushed him

Look at all dem hardworking souls at Biz library.  I studied a lot at Biz library through my four years in school, because firstly I used to have a Biz second major till year 2, then after that I just decided it was more conducive to study there.  It has good vibes

such a contrived photo :3 Hehehehehe

Love you Boss!  Thank you for accompanying me to mug lololol.  He insists that my discussion with him of his arts GEM helped him score better than expected but I think he's just being kind.  Nevertheless, Engine project reports differ vastly from Arts papers so I think having me to talk to about Arts essays structures and all helped a little!  :3

Was tickled by this sign in Biz library... Such demands!  In the Central Library people eat and talk freely.  It's you and your earphones in this lonely world, pal

Had a last chapter to finish but the library was closing so I popped over to KR--

to find this silly dear!  (:

Yet another day:

Went to the Late Plate Cafe!!  Read my past entry on this gem of a cafe found on campus here!

Was feeling a tad carnivorous so I went for this extremely filling and creamy pork chop pasta.

I'd recommend you share this with a friend if you're like me, because I absolutely couldn't finish it!  That's not to say it wasn't yummy though; the pork was succulent, and the mushroom taste was really infused into the cream.  Was so good!

And here's my lunch partner who looks positively greedy.  :p  No, he isn't, actually - we were given the plate of Steak Fries for free!  The chef is really generous to the two of us  :DDDDD  I'm not a big fan of fries, but I do like The Late Plate's Steak Fries, because though they're fat fries, they're still crispy and not greasy at all.  I do like their homemade dips a lot, especially the lime chilli aioli!

Bryan got the Bacon and Eggs Roll, which I had the previous time!  REALLY YUMMY TOO!  Read the other entry for more photos of that.  (:

Was so gooooood.

With our tummies satisfied, off we went to the Biz library to resume revision!

Was going for a summer-y look! Super sheeny bluish eyeshadow with pearl-green undertones for my eyes!

"STOP TAKING PHOTOS"

Meh

The next day:

BACK AT BIZ AGAIN LEY.  Maybe my A for GEK1058 is justified after all hahahahahahahaha

After an afternoon of revision, finally went for dins!

Ordered Ameen in!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I LOVE AMEEN.  :D  I think Spize is yummier lah, but usually I'm pretty sloshed when I eat Spize food, so that might be a determining factor.

EGGY THAI STYLE FRIED RICE WITH CHICKEN

Looks exceedingly spicy but that's just food colouring.  The chili is not that red, so it's latent spiciness.

I love you !

Back to studying and back to more photos hahahahahahaahah

Managed to find this in the vending machine!  OHEYA MULTI-GRAIN SNACK!!!  I had to get it, I love the stuff

From my last day of school on the 15th of April to my first and last exam on the 7th May, I did study quite a lot, actually.  Thank the stars for such great company who forced me to study along with them!  I remember stuff best when I discuss issues out loud, so I'm grateful to anyone who heard me out on the Speak Mandarin Campaigns, Minority languages, and Singlish.  Hehehehe

I seriously still can't believe I got a SAP of 4.90!  (':  Best sem ever.  :DDDDDDDDD

Thank you friends for all the help and support you've given me on this journey!  Thank you to you too, reader, for accompanying me on this journey.  (:

Love you all!
Pamela
