Hi,you've sucha cute eyes :) May I know if the double eyelids are due to falsies? Thanks
Hello, thank you - and yup, I used to have single eyelids but because I always wear falsies, the glue somehow caused my single eyelids to become double eyelids!
zhi wei:

Trish:
Hi! Your site is so interesting and helpful :)
Aww thank you Trish! (:
Thanks for tagging, as always! I know I'm terrible at replying tags and they accumulate.... But I want you to know that I really appreciate you leaving a message to let me know that my blog is still read! Makes me that more motivated to blog when I don't feel like it, like now. Hehe. I'm listening to Nicolas Jaar now and feeling really relaxed and mellowed, so much so that I want to take a cat nap. But I won't, because I haven't blogged in awhile! If you've been reading my blog regularly, I really apologise! Been busy planning stuff and just getting ready for commencement ceremony in general. It's coming soon! My department's is on the
8th July at 8pm! COME AND SNAP A PHOTO WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :D I received a letter from NUS two days ago and its purpose was to inform me that
I'd made it onto the dean's list for my last semester in school! Such a surprise, and such a pleasure, really. (': Ending university life with a bang! But more about that another time.
Today I've some photos from when I went to watch
X-Men: Days of Future Past with Ms Neo and Boss! We had lunch at Genki Sushi first, though we had placed our bags at Everything with Fries and then
I we changed our minds. Such indecisive people we are :3
Some of my favourite sushi! Hana maki, salmon nigiri and lobster salad gunkan!! :D
We then went for the film, and caused a bit of a stir because some dude was sitting in our seats - he had the rows mixed up *rolls eyes* - but to be honest, the film wasn't that great! I liked the epic parts, the fighting and when Magneto was being well, him. But I felt like the story was moving too quickly, but during the sappy parts, the events went along slower, but because of how quickly everything else was progressing, the emotional parts felt a tad
forced.
Still though, I'm glad we caught it! Some parts were funny, and I really enjoyed some of the visual effects. I also really like watching Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart regardless of anything haha.
Forced Boss to take the photo and they're both in giggles because I was happily chirping "OMG FINALLY MY FACE IS THE SMALLEST I CAN HIDE IN BETWEEN YOU TWO"
Thanks for the lunch treat, Boss! :p You spoil me/us hahahaahah. He had to leave earlier to pass a friend something, so Ms Neo and I wandered about on Orchard Road attempting to take photos without getting annoying passersby in our shots.
Here's Zhiwei in her cheery outfit! I like her top, it had a retro vibe
More often that not, during our photo taking sessions, you'll find at least one photo of Ms Neo laughing uncontrollably, not unlike this one! :D Maybe my directions are too hilarious. I like making her laugh though!
Mid-beanie adjusting, with a pained expression. It wasn't as warm as it is now, but it was still a warm day!
Blue checkered midi dress is from Daisy Street via Asos!
Couldn't stop complimenting her on how pretty the Laura Mercier powder looked on her face!
A kindly tourist saw us taking photos by ourselves and offered his help:
Such kind people! I must take note to offer my help to others!
Thank you for accompanying me to Illamasqua to swatch stuff babe!!
This is the powder blush Nymph from Illamasqua. Bought it for Flea as her birthday gift! She exchanged it for something else, though. There's an Illamasqua in Robinsons Somerset and I was so excited while checking it out with Zhiwei. The makeup girls there are such a fun bunch and they're genuinely happy suggesting stuff for you to try out, so it was a joy trying stuff out there as well. Some people might also appreciate that they're not pushy! I love Illamasqua lip and eye colours, and I am smitten with some of their promotional campaigns. Some of the makeup looks are AMAZING and so dramatic!
Took these upon reaching home - here's a close up of the eye makeup for that day! Felt like lining my bottom water line to increase the intensity of the purple eyeshadow. I don't usually do that, because my eyes are really small and doing that really closes up my eyes! It went with that day's look though - I like to always remind myself to try new things just to shake the old routine up.
MAC's Cherish lipstick on the lips! And just a hint of Nars' Angelika on the cheeks.
Thanks for reading, friends!
Off for dinner now, today's such a lethargic day for me. My body's aching from the gym session a few days ago! Hope you are doing awesome, whereever you are, whatever you're up to :D
Love,
Pamela
