Fritz Kalkbrenner's set when he came to Singapore to play at Zouk last month!
Thanks bbg for listening to my woes... Just needed to blow off some steam! (: Anyway Flea Ng and I hadn't clubbed together in awhile, it was nice!
She was on a no-alcohol diet though!
So the two Long Island were mine hehe. Took our time just sipping them and checking out random people. Felt so odd to be clubbing after a short hiatus! I had decided to not go club unless there were really guest DJs that I wanted to hear or if the residents were having their specific nights, because the past few times I went just to meet friends there was so much drama that I just needed a break. Meh
Still the best to club with you babe!
It was pretty crowded that night because Fritz Kalkbrenner was in Velvet and Laidback Luke was in the main room. Fritz Kalkbrenner is Paul Kalkbrenner's brother by the way! :D How cool is it that both brothers produce and play techno? I prefer Fritz's stuff because his techno makes me feel warm and fuzzy! While Paul's can get a bit cold.

Back in members, it was soooooo crowded I'm pretty sure I stepped on at least five persons' feet that night with my 6 inch platform boots from Sixtyseven
But I think the best part of my night was this:
Little bugger texting me to ask if I was at Zouk and then poof! There he was. Meet my younger brother everyone.
It was really funny partying together for the first time, and though I kept yelling at you at one point because you were accusing me of something that I didn't do and I WAS SO ANGRY, I still had a good time heh.
Thanks Flea, Jarl and bro for the happy night!!!!!!! Stayed over at Flea's and had cup noodles while the poor girl ate a banana. The next day we spent a good part of the morning bronzing our faces. Well she was, anyway, I didn't shine and glitter the moment I stepped out into the sunlight. LOL I kid! It was a healthy glow :p
In my photo gallery now I have so many photos of Zouk nights, and I can't imagine if I can't get to go to Zouk to meet my friends, to have velvet nuggets, to drink velvet rope and dreamer, and most importantly, listen to and dance to world class electronic music. I mean, who the fuck's gon' go to so much trouble to bring in Disclosure for us? (Thanks Wayne, by the way, you're the best!) But currently, there's actually a possibility of Zouk closing down ): ): ): Because of lease extensions and property value, or some hibnoggin' that I don't care for. All I'm really worried about not being able to dance in my favourite place to my favourite music... and also, where the hell am I gonna bring my overseas friends to party at if Zouk's gone?? ): There's a petition going on to prevent this from happening, and if you could, please sign up here at the website:
