my complexion has been really bad lately.
possible reason #1:
after the bout of clean eating and antibiotics as a result of wisdom tooth extraction, my body is now protesting the junk i am eating/antibiotics really kills any form of germs or itch
possible reason #2:
my sensitivity to seafood has gotten worse
possible reason #3:
stress levels and crying for the past few days
i'd like to put my money on the third reason but i think it's just a combination of all three. i haven't changed any facial or makeup products so they shouldn't be the problem.

today i went back to nus to escape the drilling and construction work behind and in front of my block. school has excellent vibes; i achieved quite a lot today. i had a fried chicken cutlet from yih's foodcourt and suddenly realised that i have eaten fried chicken thrice this week: kfc, har cheong gai (prawn paste chicken wing) and that fried chicken cutlet. maybe it's excess oil that's causing all them breakouts.
i am rather happy today.

moritza unexpectedly jumped into my line of vision and gave me the best surprise ever at starbucks yih. really missed her so much! had a short talk but from what she's told me, life at ntu is hectic and tiring. i miss all you el majors.

found out that BONDAX is coming to singapore in september! 20th september at zouk, mark your calendars people. i most probably am going for scuba on the 9th as well.

news arrived that zouk got its lease extended till 2017! it's not closing, yay! jiak kim street remains the same for now. happy.

i had starbucks' turkey ham, cheddar & egg white bun thingy for dinner. also tried a new drink from their current range
i had the yogurt citrus with mango jelly on the barista's recommendation. it was yummy but i seriously wanted to try the passion tea lemonade with hibiscus jelly. i mean, hibiscus jelly, c'mon. next drink
note the starbucks card treat. a free upgrade from a grande to a venti. valid till 31 aug.
our dinner
bryan had the trio of mini sandwiches (egg mayo, chicken with corn & tuna)
my dinner. i wouldn't call this a sandwich, but the barista did. this is one of my favourite thingys to eat at starbucks though. the cheddar goes really well with the egg white.
bryan left early, so i was left to my own devices. only took one photobooth shot. it isn't the same as being in the honours room.
my parents asked me to buy dinner for them, and nearing the indian rice stall, i was preoccupied with the empty containers and blurted out "auntie still got left what ah" before i took a good look at the lady behind the counter. after i ordered i said "sorry for calling you auntie leh, i feel so embarrassed - you so young" i think she was probably about 10 years older than i am. she said it was alright, and gave me an extra potato ball.
that was the icing on top of the cake.
i love it when people are nice. today was a good day. (:
