Granny interlaced her fingers with mine whilst walking home from dinner tonight. I don't remember the last time she held my hands like this; I offer my arm as a support when we are out, and sometimes we hold hands while crossing the road, but she hasn't held my hands like this since.. I was in primary school, most probably.
I remember when she used to tie my long, thick hair into two ponytails. Split right down the middle. She would always brush my hair through, with the gentlest of touch - my hair never hurt, even if there was a tangle. I remember these little incidents.
