Hello.
I'm back from my hiatus. It's been slightly longer than two weeks, I think. I really needed some time to myself. Something had happened, and I just needed a break from everything.
In some ways, I've changed a lot. I don't think I'll ever think in the same ways as my younger self used to. I'll never trust people easily again.
I'm trying to get better and it's going to be really difficult. But I know my family members and close friends are supporting me so --
fiercely, and so aggressively, that now, during the times that I get scared, their presence and support calm me down to the greatest extent. Everyone is showing their concern through texts, messages and being good company though they don't really know what happened. I really appreciate it.

It really put a smile on my face. Thank you Jian Gang, for always being the voice of reason and knowing exactly how to make me feel better. I'll just take this entire thing as a very painful lesson learnt and become a stronger and better person.

I finally ventured out of the house with Flea one day. She had stayed over the previous night.
Hence she borrowed my top! Also, I gently talked her out of wearing slippers to Orchard, and asked her to wear my Doc Marts instead, haha.
Went to
Ambush at Takashimaya for lunch, because the both of us were sick of Chinese and Japanese cuisine and were craving pastaaaaaaaa.

After I bought American Gods by Neil Gaiman from Kinokuniya, and after we'd had a little swatching session in Sephora, Flea brought me to
TWG Tea at Ion for some chilling out.
Can't remember what she ordered, aha
I'd never been before; I'm not much of a tea person to be honest. I only liked iced lychee tea a lot, and that's not.. really tea, is it? The differences amongst the English Breakfast, the Earl Grey, Jasmine, Camomile and what not all slip past my mind.
I was recommended to try the Sakura tea though, and the help was greatly appreciated, because they have such an extensive selection at TWG!
Also got creme brulee (: It was very decadent
It's really nice to sit back in the comfy chairs in TWG, sipping your tea, watching people walking in and out of the luxury stores, and listening to music. That day, they were playing mostly opera, which suited my mood just fine. Occasionally my eyes would widen as the tenor or the soprano hit an impossibly high note.
Came home and realised... I'd spent the entire day in heels (a pass-me-down from Flea; she doesn't wear heels anymore D: ) but didn't take an outfit photo at all! So Flea helped me snap these three:
Polka-dot blouse is from Primark, London! It's really pretty (: I think UK sizes seem to be of slightly smaller cuttings? I couldn't fit into this when I first came back to Singapore but I think I've lost a bit of weight these few days so I could. And if you ask, why did I even buy tops that I couldn't wear, it's because when I was Primark all my buys were just grabs off the shelves, I didn't bother queuing up to try them on hehehehe.

So that was my first day out in a really long while. Mom&Pops bought me a new phone, an iPhone 5, and its front camera is so much better than the 4s'!

I'd brought Zhiwei to the nail parlour that Flea and I frequent! I got my Gellish red nails removed (at no charge), and got French tips, Gellish again, this time! (: It cost me 25$. Zhiwei got an express manicure at 7$, she chose a pretty nudish-brown. Flea's greyish-taupe was done by the same lady a few days ago! Our nail lady has mad skills, plus she's so nice!
We spent Youth Day at
Cash Studio Karaoke at Cuscaden Road singing old school Westlife, random powerhouse female singers' songs like LeAnne Rimes, Celine Dion and many other silly songs. Love you two much much!

Tai Hwa Pork Noodle
If you know me well, I'm extremely lazy when it comes to food..... I hate waiting in lines and I'd generally just go for the shortest queue in the canteen hahahaha. But when it's down to restaurants, it's a different story altogether - I don't mind sitting down and waiting for 30 minutes haha. It's just the standing in line that I can't take!
Apparently, for this stall, the usual waiting time in the snaking queue lines is 30 minutes. However, that day Gannuer and I were there at about 2-ish 3pm, which is an odd time for both lunch and dinner, so we only waited for about 10 minutes in the queue!
And there you have it! The cheapest priced one is $5, and it goes up to $8 if I'm not wrong. Don't balk at the price just yet, I know for a bowl of ba chor mee (or, pork noodles to you non-Singaporeans), the usual price is 2.50$ or 3$, but I can't deny that there was a really generous amount of pork lean meat and pork liver in this bowl of ba chor mee! There also are a slice of cuttlefish, a wanton and cubes of fried pork lard.
Told her to make an excited face and this was what she came up with. LOL.

It was good ba chor mee! To be honest though, I won't go back for it again. I was just accompanying Gannuer because she was craving for it! It tasted good but Lavender's far from where I stay, and I have to admit I don't really know what qualifies as a FANTASTIC ba chor mee. Springy noodles? Enough meat? Just sufficient amount of sauce? Right balance of vinegar and chili?
We then took a bus to Bugis. My ring is from Gina Tricot, a Swedish store! My floral bag is a gift from Gannuer and Alice, from Gooseberry in Bugis. (: (:
#ootd I know so many people have this dress from H&M but... mine was bought in Aarhus when they were having summer sales, and it was like.. 8SGD or something like that? Ridiculously cheap. Anyway it's such a pretty dress! My pink sandals're from ASOS (:

Also bumped into Rahardhi!! :D Hello, secondary school mate. It was pretty cool to see him and catch up for a bit. The entire atmosphere was crazy though, I felt so excited for everyone there -- everyone was rushing about taking photos. There were loads of hugs and congratulatory yells!
