I know it doesn't make much sense to reply my tags when they go all the way back to almost two months ago but... I want to show my appreciation! :D

Haven't been updating for long because honestly, all I've been doing is hanging out with loved ones and eating a lot. I'm not too sure if anyone would be interested in reading about those, haha. :x But thought I should show my blog some love today, since I'm feeling pretty happy - I know I've been writing really negative stuff here recently.

Went out with Feyne and Flea recently, and we had lunch at Oriole Cafe & Bar. It's at Somerset!


I'd ordered the Beef Cheek Tagliatelle, one of the dishes recommended by people on the WWW to try! It was reaaaally good. The beef pieces were tender, having most probably been braised in the red wine sauce for long. It was full of flavour and I love how moist the dish was, without sacrificing the al dente pasta (:


Went to The Marmalade Pantry for dessert where I had an awesome oreo milkshake ;D Pretty bb and I here!


With pretty Feyne! Love the way she did her eyeliner :D


She also bought the two of us flowers! (: Thank you m'love. I've never received a champagne-coloured rose before; it's really pretty.

It was nice talking about girly things and just chilling out. Though we don't meet up often, Feyne always always always is such a support through FB and other means! Her words always make me feel better. There're some people who'll always be such dears! (: After our mini catch-up session, Feyne had to leave and Flea and I also decided to head home. WE'RE SUCH BLOKES WHO TIRE EASILY, lol. I asked for her help for #ootd photos and.. Unglamorous shots will always be part of the deal when the camera is handed over to Flea.

I wasn't feeling really okay that night but it was made loads better by a delivery of cheesecake by _! Thank you love (: (: (:




Went out to swim at Safra the other day; it was my first time exercising in almost a month! It felt good to swim faster than most people to stretch my muscles out and just being in the pool in general. I love swimming a lot. Wish I had space to just float around leisurely though, lol.

Had the famous laksa at Yishun for lunch:




Then went to meet the 153cm tall lady! At Pastamania, she broke fast with a delicious tom yum seafood pasta, whilst I committed the mistake of ordering their mushroom soup. Their cream of mushroom soup is TERRIBLE. Please don't ever order it. It has happened multiple times that I've received a bowl of liquid tasting like plain water with a dash of milk in it, without the slightest taste of mushroom nor cream whatsoever. Please stick to pastas. *-*

I didn't get a main course because I had wanted to save some tummy space for Gelare waffles but after spending quite a bit of time at Watsons the queues were too long for us to get waffles *INSERTSMEGASADFACE Honey Malt Crunch, wait for me.

We'd spent a lot of time in Watsons because Huda was ganging up with the Vichy lady to recommend numerous products to me. HUDA CAN JUST WORK FOR VICHY ALREADY PLEASE, she's such a crazy proponent of it.

I gave in pretty easily, I'm terribly easily persuaded hahahahaha. Got all these!

Love Amalina to bits and sometimes I feel like just... simply lying on her small frame makes me feel better. Maybe we can send emotions to each other through contact. I don't think I've words to describe how our friendship is but she's the best, that's all I can say.

Today Yesterday I went out to JEM for the first time. It's pretty cool. It's humongous and has loads of stores to shop at! All the major stores are there, and there's a Sephora there hehehehehe. Spent some time in H&M looking for a cardigan and found one:


Also bought a headband because.


Had dinner at Al-Ameen Eating House that has apparently changed its name to Al-Amaan Eating House ._. Regardless, having not been there for three years, I was glad to find that the food was still really yummy! :D Bryan got a Kampong-style fried rice which had brilliant chili as a dip. I love spicy stuff so much. I got a Maggi Pataya! So so so yummy.

Came home and was bored so I played with my makeup.


Had gone out with this. Used some purplish-maroon eyeshadow from Urban Decay's Ammo palette, Nars' Angelika on the cheeks and it's MAC's Cherish on the lips!

Wiped off the eyeshadow, lengthened my brows and played around with some colourful eyeliner, and got this:




Was also trying to a two-tone lipstick stain sort of thing with MAC's Viva Glam 3 (a dark plum-ish brown) on the outer rim, while having Topshop's All About Me (a bright pink) in the inner part. Doesn't show up too well on photos!

And lastly:



Defined my brow crease with a red and then filled in the space between the blue eyeliner and the red line with a black eyeshadow.

I love makeup! It allows one to look so different so easily. (: Am so excited for tomorrow!

I've to be up early, and it's already 3am. Shall head to bed. But before that, check out this awesome cover:
