3 Makeup Styles: Bright Eye, Anime-Inspired, Hobo Grunge

It's 0241 hours now, and someone just asked me whether I was headed to bed soon. I answered "Nope, these lonely times are when I discover brilliant music." I'm being serious here! I think my mind and mood are just more receptive to any kinds of music and I'm rested enough that my mind catches attention of the music I like. What I mean by catching attention is that usually at these times, I'll listen to streams on Soundcloud, or a channel on Youtube, or a DJ's mixtape, and I'll make sure I note down those tracks which catch my attention!

These are two songs which I'd like to share with you (:

Pretty much fitting my mood so much, both these tracks!

Well anyway as the title suggests, Imma be posting about three different makeup styles I wore recently hehe. They aren't reaaaaaally drastically different - I'm not a professional makeup artist so I just change my style according to my mood but I don't really think there's a huge difference. I hope I can further polish my makeup techniques so I know how to work with different faces better, and to work better with my own features heh.

I first wore a really bright eye to Vong's convocation!

Vonger with the bouquet of gerberas I got her! :D so proud of you m'dear!

Looking all grown up hehehheheheh

Convocations always get me all excitable and just feel like a little kid in general! Maybe it's because everyone's so excitedly rushing about taking photos with each other and there's just good vibes in the air. (:

For my eye makeup, I was using a pink from Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 palette! Didn't do anything to my bottom eye lid as I did not want to complicate my eye makeup with the bright pink going on. Wearing No.7's nude lip liner all over my lips!

I also bumped into Eric!!!! (: Hehe seeing Eric makes me think of times spent in London with him. If you're reading this, we should hang out before you head back to Reading!!

Sidenote: My denim top's from Asos White! Denim high waisted shorts are from Modparade. Thought I'd keep to a simple denim theme because I wanted my pink eyeshadow to be the highlight heh.

Then I went to meet Veron at Expo for the Artistry Makeup competition! Basically, I stay in the North, I travelled to the West to NTU to find Vong, then I went all the way to the East for the makeup competition. I say, how dedicated am I! :p

Bbg and I! Loved her smoky eyes for that day. (:

Just appearing here very randomly are my pokemon comics:

I used to be such a fan!!!! In secondary school, after class, I always went to Comic Connection to check if the newest issue had been released haha. I can't bear to throw them away.

This leads on to my next made-up face, and it's anime inspired! LOL. Yoke recently shared with me a makeup tutorial on Lana Del Rey and it was actually by the real-life anime girl! Here's the link to her channel. She's REALLY good. She honestly looks like a real-life anime character, but what amazes me more is when she does makeup tutorials for real persons, such as Lana Del Rey, CL from 2NE1 and Johnny Depp (yes she did Captain Sparrow's makeup!) - SHE REALLY LOOKS LIKE THEM. O_O She has mad skills. MAD SKILLS.

And... here's my take on a wearable anime makeup.

AHHHHHHHHH it was hilarious doing my makeup with Yoke accompanying me. We were both in amazement of how different my eyes looked when I only had makeup on one side of my face.

Whilst walking about, I kept getting stared at. *-* Or maybe I was just self-conscious.

Went to Ramenplay for dinner anyway WHAHAHAHAAH. Bryan joined us!

THANK YOU LOVE for helping me read through every single line of terms and conditions in the blasted contract!

Hehehehehe my love, mentai okura!

Bryan's sanpou ramen! HE SHARED HIS PORK BELLY WITH ME hehe. I did give him some of my noodles and meat too, don't give me that disapproving glare!

Flea with her Tonkotsu double soup ramen!

I got that as well. :D

CMI at acting kawaii........ ;_;

*POUTS

Because they'd both finished their bowls, whilst I chucked some of mine's to B, I HAD SPACE FOR DESSERT!! So we went to Coffeebean.

One of my favourite cheesecakes in the whole wide world. (: (: (: Raspberry white chocolate cheesecake! The combination of the tart raspberry and the sweeeeet white chocolate with cream cheese is just so decadent.

B also got a huge venti-sized latte for us to share, most of which he finished.

I returned home and played with makeup a tad more and ended up with this:

ANIME BU LIAO LA, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

It was the best I could do, though! (:

It was quite funny how I felt I kept having to make puppy eyes.

Keeping in theme with all things Japanese, here's Royce's Nama white chocolate which B got for me:

If you haven't already realised, I am a huge fan of white chocolate.

Mom& Pops were trying to fix up a shelf which we had bought from Ikea.

The huge grin on Mommy's face that you see there is caused by Daddy screwing up the shelves hehehehehe. It was hilarious listening to the two of them scold each other over how "best" to do stuff, just bantering but still helping each other out very lovingly. I guess a couple will always have such moments.

Once Mommy realised fixing up stuff from Ikea by herself could be achieved, she decided we should head down to Ikea again.

And I decided to do a hobo grunge makeup!

Really brought the eyeshadow beneath my eye down a lot to accentuate my lower eye bags. Also tried to make my eye shape rounder with brown eyeshadow!

After a tiring afternoon spent at Ikea, we went to Sushi Tei for dinner!

UNAGI WITH AVOCADO AND MAYO IS ALWAYS GOOOOOOOD.

Favourite!

This croquette had an edamame filling!

Tuna, yellow tail and salmon sashimi! Sushi Tei never disappoints on its sashimi.

Favourite salad, sashimi salad!

This was really good as well, mentai over crab meat!

What i wore that day. Nerd beanie from Asos!

I'm exhausted. Having your period is no joke.*-*

HOPE Y'ALL ENJOYED READING, GOODNIGHT AND HAVE AN AWESOME BACK TO SCHOOL Y'ALL!

For the rest of you, have fun back at work, perhaps try a different makeup style to chase away the Monday blues? (: And if you don't wear makeup, why not put on a funky tie?

Love,
Pamela
