So this week I had a plan. ASOS had a sale recently and I went ahead and bought a few things. After shopping, I felt guilty because I recalled the previous time I'd bought from ASOS, I promised myself I wouldn't shop just at the mere "SALES" sign, and I seriously have quite a number of items of clothing that I hadn't even worn once in my closet. The thing is, I think the reason why girls think they always lack clothes and buy more is because they don't plan well. At least, that's the reason for me. I often stand in front of my wardrobe on the day that I need to go out and a huge question mark just appears in my head and I blank out. Things that I think about:

1) What did I wear last week for this class (in order to not repeat an outfit)?
2) What did I wear yesterday for school (in order to not look like I'm always wearing the same thing)?
3) DO I LOOK GOOD IN THEM?

._. I know, it looks slightly crazy, my thinking about all these - I mean, c'mon it's just bloody school ainnit. I guess such things matter to me, but rest assured when I need sleep, school work definitely becomes a priority over dressing and makeup! However, I decided something had to be done.

Thus on Sunday night I went ahead and planned my outfits for the week. Usually, I can take up to 20 minutes choosing what to wear, even 30! However, that night, I spent an hour choosing 4 outfits. I think it was a pretty good improvement (:

What I wore on Monday:

cat-eye sunnies, h&m // nyx addis ababa lip cream

I brought Thom to school! The sunlight was really conducive for taking photos at Central Forum.

moustache print top, primark // light blue denim jeans, zara // drop earrings, stradivarius // cat necklace, bugis // watch, asos // black flats, rubi

My makeup was ulzzang-inspired that day! Did I look like a Korean? Haha

Tried to get my brows to be as thick and straight as possible but it was difficult because I really wasn't used to it haha.

And this was my favourite photo of the day!

Went to eat at my favourite stall at the deck for dinner:

BA CHOR MEEEEEE ^-^ With extra chilli

All the stuff I wore that day! My cute watch from ASOS has a moustache design as well.

I'd been craving the new Magnum pink ice cream for mad long. Guess what though, I'm not even a Magnum fan!! I honestly think it's a waste of money because it's such a boring ice cream bar haha. I don't really like the vanilla ice cream inside the original flavoured one either. However, my desires were heavily influenced by.... You guessed it! The colour pink *-* I honestly just wanted it because of the advertising (at Ion, with the video of the lady) and because it's pink!

It was....... unimpressive. I'll stick to B&J, thank you very much!

On Wednesday, I decided to not follow my plan on a whim and guess what -- I WAS LATE because I couldn't decide what to wear. -_-"

yellow top, h&m // necklace, topshop // pink shorts, bangkok // sandals, asos

Spent some time in AS7 doing random shit online. Gender class was brutal, I had such a hard time watching the video Mie showed in class. Sometimes, what I'm studying really hits me hard because.. it's what's happening in the real world. And it's frustrating because such agents of socialisation have been here since a really long time ago - the television, the government, your peers, educational institutions and whatnot - it's really difficult to change people's mindsets.

On Thursday, I didn't follow my outfit plan either - because it was SO COLD *-*

Decided on a very autumnal theme. But jacked it up with Union Jack (haha, get it? :x) socks and Doc Marts to look less ladylike.

black beret, brown skirt, forever21 // red sweater, shana // black cardigan, h&m // necklace, diva // union jack socks, topshop

Nails are also Topshop by the way!

On Friday, it really was too cold so I just whacked a huge thick sweater I got from Modparade a really long time ago. The last time I'd worn it was in Aarhus.

Gannuer taught me about a new thing that day: Facetime!! I didn't have mine turned on my phone, heh.

Spoke to my darling girl for awhile before having lunch and going for tutorial where I was forced to watch Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines and got thoroughly depressed again. I genuinely dislike that music video.

Went to the gym with Bryan for my usual Friday gym session. I think I disappointed him because during the second week, I could do 20 times of ab exercise, but this week, I couldn't do even one set. I feel disappointed myself but I'm not sure if I'm using the right muscles for that..... My shoulders hurt a lot using that machine ): I did leg press as usual, B says I'm doing 60kg for that! Did leg extension for the first time and tried that out with 60pounds (about 27kg). I've improved my squats to 40 kg in total (the bar weighs 20kg haha). :D

Was missing my granny quite a bit because I haven't met her for a really long time so I went over to her place after school. She made a comforting meal just for the two of us, light soupy macaroni, hot dogs, and my favourite cod fish! She was really proud of making her own marinated ginger, gari - the kind of pickled ginger you get in Japanese restaurants and it tasted really good with the century egg!

Granny and I (: (: (: Love how cheery she is all the time. Spent the evening watching some telly show with her, and speaking to her in a lousy smattering of Hokkien mixed with Mandarin and English. I'm really proud of my granny for being so resilient and optimistic even times of hardship. Gotta remember to spend more time with her.

She also managed to entice me to eat some mooncake!!!!! I generally don't eat mooncake because they're damn fattening hahahahahaa. But I do love meself some good lotus paste.

To conclude, regarding my outfit plan, I genuinely think it's a good idea to plan ahead! I spend less time fretting on the day itself. Though my first week's plan failed terribly (I only kept to 1/4 days' worth of outfit), it's partly because of the weather! Well, there're still many weeks to go to try this plan out. Do you have problems with your outfits? Do you spend hours coming up with something to wear though you seemingly have tonnes of clothes?? How do you solve that? Let me know!

It's e-learning week tomorrow! I still have work to do but I don't know why I'm treating it so much like a holiday. I spent the whole of today (Saturday) lolling around in bed, trying to get brave enough to watch Pewdiepie play Outlast (I do see the irony in this, watching another person play a game shouldn't be scary, right? BUT HELLS NO, I'm a chicken), watching Supernatural and falling asleep.

I'm just feeling terrible every day...

At least I'm still alive.

(': Jian Gang's words always make me feel better.

trying my best. I'm trying my best.
