KITH CAFE // ALEX METRIC // MARK KNIGHT

This happened on the 7th of December!

I dragged Bryan (I didn't really have to, he loves to eat) to Kith Cafe at Park Mall to check it out.

It was pretty small, could probably seat about 15 people inside, and 30 outside?  I liked it though, it was cosy!  However, it was a tad too warm for me, because they kept the door opened, and the air conditioning wasn't turned up high.

Still pretty excited for the food, though!

The mister who took so long to style his hair.  I was actually earlier than him!!  :D

He got this, the Caramel Cookie Milkshake, which cost 8.50$.  It was SO YUMMYYYYYYYYYY.  Definitely for those who have a sweet tooth!  His gripe was that the cookie bits weren't big enough and didn't pack a crunch, but I had no complaints whatsoever - it was so good.

Kinda stole it then, hahahahahaha

B got the spaghetti with beef tenderloin cubes ($20), which was really flavourful!  Mostly because of the garlic and olive oil.  The taste of the tomatoes, mushrooms and capsicums is also really infused into the entire dish.

I'd ordered a carbonara ($15)!!  :D  I'm a sucker for cream pastas, and this was really good.  However, they use pancetta instead of bacon, and the pancetta's slightly more chewy and has a meatier taste than what I prefer.  Maybe it's because I had carbonara at another place a day before and that was my perfect carbonara so I was comparing them, heh.  The version at Kith is still really good though!  Also, I find the parsley bits also cut through the cream so if you're the kind who gets jelat eating creamy pastas this would be good for you.

We then travelled to Zouk!

Whilst Abel, Bryan, Yihan and I waited for the diva, Bryan took outfit shots for me :D

Wearing a floral romper to club might not seem like a first choice to many, but I amped it up with my platform boots!

When the diva aka NICK NG finally arrived we went to get our chops.

With two of my favourite men!!!!!!  Can't imagine life without these two (':

Once we arrived at the topic of Jackass in our conversation, it was as if I disappeared from the group.  Them guys just kept on going "Oh my god the worst was when blahblah blah did blahblah blah"  -_-"  I've only watched a bit of Jackass so I didn't really know what was going on, but honestly they went on at it for so long.  Only Nick noticed that I went quiet, and he changed the topic, which was nice of him.  (:

Got in and we got ear plugs.  Yihan has trained me well.

I BE PIMPIN'
Sadly Yihan wasn't one of my pimps because he had hopped off to buy drinks

Bryan and Nick with their hall friends!  I swear, KR people club all the time.  *-*  Everytime I'm there with either Bryan, Nick or Yihan, they'd have someone to say hi to at Zouk!!

Also, spot Adrian in the background looking so focused on his work hehe.  Said hi to him 'cos I hadn't seen him for awhile!!  To see a video of him go check out my instagram: @greekhoney !

Adrian was opening for Alex Metric in Velvet, and Hong was opening for Mark Knight in Zouk!  GOD I WAS LIKE FOAMING WHEN I KNEW THE TWO OF THEM WERE GONNA BE PLAYING IN ZOUK COS I LOVE 'EM BOTH SO MUCH  (':   #bestillmyheart

Mark Knight has this awesome track which you should check out:

Alright ; Mark Knight

And I really like Open Your Eyes by Alex Metric and Steve Angello:

It's a pretty old track, but still really good

I also like this remix by him!

Niki & The Dove - Mother Protect (Alex Metric Remix)

He also remixed Lisztomania by Phoenix, go check that out!  I never knew Alex Metric was that tall, hahahahaha.  I was also at Zouk the previous time he was here!  Never got to see him up close though. He produced the Infadels' album, of which one track I really really really fucking love.  Can't seem to find it on Youtube, but here it is on Soundcloud: click for Infadels' Explain Nothing (Part 1)!

Though I dreadfully wanted to split myself into two and be in both Zouk and Velvet at once, I couldn't do that, so I decided to spend more time in Zouk, because I was more into Mark Knight's house stuff that night!  The rest were set on Alex Metric, but I had Bryan with me, whom I introduced to Hong hehe.  Don't forget the residents okay!!  Check their music out here:

Went to and fro the two rooms quite a few times, and luckily I got into Velvet when Alex Metric was playing this classic:

The Giver ; Duke Dumont

SO HAPPY IT WAS PLAYED PLEAAAAAAAAAASE  *foams*  Such a sexy tune.  Everyone was dancing so hard, it was such good fun.

Hung out with Hong a bit, who was a little tired, poor thing!  But yay I got to take a selfie in this room:

My elder brother absolutely loathes it when I wear this pair of platform boots, but damn, I really just love them.  Not because they give me more height, but just because they're so badass.  Everyone should have an item that makes them feel badass.  Like how Jules has his Bad Mother Fucker wallet in Pulp Fiction.

With that, I bid thee a good night!
