Yesterday afternoon I dragged myself home because I was feeling like death. I think the chilly wind from the past week is getting to me! Somehow, when I was overseas, the cold and snow did not bother me in the slightest but when in Singapore, I often succumb to colds easily. It's odd! Maybe the humidity in our climate affects me a lot?

What I wore yesterday for World Lang class! I made a mental note to myself to attempt to dress warmer but when I was picking my clothes the weather felt warm - in the end this thin cardigan was hardly sufficient to protect me from the chilly wind. My cutesy backpack is new! It's from the ASOS men's range. I decided to treat my shoulder better and use backpacks more often rather than tote bags this semester because I keep having to bring my extremely heavy laptop to school.
Have you ever been to the NUS Music Library? It's really modern-looking! I spent a good few hours there reading stuff, but I think that time spent in the aircon was a bad decision, because I ended up feeling really awful and had to cancel on Bert and Joachim for dinner. D: Sorry!
Bryan and I had lunch at
Alcove Restaurant at University Culture Centre before we went to the library. He calls it a hidden gem, and I've to agree, I think the food's pretty good if you're looking for really hearty zi char food which warms you up!
He ordered seafood hor fun! Looks unimpressive but was quite yummy, just a little too salty for my liking.
I got the seafood claypot noodles, really huge bowl and very hearty.
I feel rather terrible and uncomfortable, this being ill business stinks. Pfft. Don't feel quite fit to do anything, yet lying in bed just gives me a backache. Was watching videos on Upworthy.com and came across this:
For like-minded souls out there who wish not to get married, this video might resonate with you! The dialogue of each separate individual also reveals the ideology(/ies) they possess toward marriage as an institution. I personally don't want to get married, and well, watching this video, if not anything, gave me the comfort that there are people out there like me.
Have a good day!
