Hi my entry title sounds really shady and
lupsup but the
Ten Dollar Club is actually a karaoke place! The BC went to the Chinatown outlet a few months back, when Perry was still in town. :D
Wanchun and I reached the earliest!
It's called the Ten Dollar Club because you basically have to only pay $10 to sing for a duration of 5 hours, which is really value for money if you're a karaoke cray person (which choir members usually are). You have to be a member to sing there, but the membership costs only $5 if I'm not wrong. I paid for the membership thing but I'm definitely
not going back there!!! Hahahahahahaahah. The place is firstly, not sound-proof. We could hear some uncle wailing in the common area outside and I was so annoyed LOL. Secondly, this wallpaper is just so stifling, how can one sing properly?!?!?! And also the cushions and seats just feel really dirty. Having said all that though, the BC (minus Flea) still stayed there for hours that night! Lolol. It provides free flow of drinks as well, if that is an incentive for you. :p

We were trying our best to sing the usual songs we did but personally I was so affected by the uncle outside that I couldn't really concentrate. HAHA. Additionally Flea was absent! I usually start off karaoke sessions singing At the Beginning with her. I think JJ and I tried to sing that? Or was it Perry? But it was difficult!
Yizhen and Perry came after they got off work!! :D Such poor things, they looked SO EXHAUSTED. They managed to sing a few songs but I think all of us were just not really in the mood. Just felt very nua and we were also trying to catch up on each other's lives so singing was set aside. (: Anyway I really missed them!!!!!!!!!

Love you all much much! Can't wait till Perry's back to listen to his exchange adventures and also just to see Yizhen who's so busy with work! JJ and Wanchun are still studying but they're also so busy too. And Flea too. But any short amount of time with the BC is always just lighthearted and fun. :D
